He is an organizational psychologist, national speaker, author, and global thought leader. Dr. Jones is the C.E.O. of Global LeaderSHYFT, Inc., a company committed to accelerating leadership mindsets, skill sets, and behaviors to achieve excellence across countries, cultures, and time zones. .
Dr, Jones holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Master’s in Multicultural Counseling, along with a Master’s & Ph.D. in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology. Dr. Jones is in the process of completing his second book entitled “The LeaderS.H.Y.F.T Secret."
He has provided transformational leadership development for leaders at companies such as Children's Hospital of LA, Honda, Hyundai, MRC Capital, and Sempra Energy. In addition, Dr. Jones provided speaking, consulting and training services for organizations such as Billboard, Carnegie Science, the Conrad Prebys Foundation, the LA Zoo, Rady's Children Hospital, SDG&E, the Seattle Aquarium, SONY Music, SoCal Edison, and Solar Turbines, as well as multiple universities, educational institutions, and nonprofits across the country.

In the Local & Global Arena
Based in San Diego, Ca., Dr. Jones serves in a leadership capacity on several Boards such as Reality Changers and Academy of Our Lady of Peace Board of Directors. In addition, he serves on the San Diego Economic Development Corporation’s (EDC) Board, as well as, LEAD San Diego’s Board.
Dr. Jones has also served as a Past President to the Central San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce (CSDBCC).
In the Global arena, while studying leadership and business practices in Chang Mai, Thailand, Dr. Jones became the first person of African descent to be ordained as a Buddhist Monk at a 700 year old monastery called Wat Umong.
